Op-Ed of the WEAK: The race is on to save the heart and soul of America
Today, the spirit, heart and soul of America is at stake. Politicians are close to shredding the Constitution and everything it stands for. Freedom of life, religion, speech and assembly are at stake, along with the second amendment. We’ve already lost some God-given rights and Constitutional liberties in so many different ways, and we did nothing. Certain governors and mayors superseded their powers. It’s a shame that so many ignore the greatness of America. Many demand “reparations” for something that happened over 400 years ago. In some states, schools are now teaching the “biased” writings carefully selected and included in the 1619 Project of “one” person.
America was born 244 years ago, in 1776, not 1492, and certainly, not in 1619. Thanks to the Revolutionary War and General Washington, thousands died so that our Founding Fathers could be born. Heroes died to “hand” on a silver platter, this country, its freedom. The Declaration of Independence secured America the liberty to institute its Constitution. At that moment, unbeknownst to the world, America would become the “flagship” for world peace. Historians say that Washington was extremely well liked before he became president. By the end of his second term, it was just the opposite. Historians have graded the presidents from Washington to Obama. Lincoln and Washington top the list. Historians have been grading Trump since day one. Sirach 10:4-5 tells us that God sees to the governments of the world and brings the right person to power at the “right” time. The “success” of that person is in the Lord’s hands.
Trump wants worldwide peace and prosperity. Countries around the world owe America a world of gratitude for being the “beacon” of peace and prosperity for everything it has done abroad since its birth. Today, America is at a crossroads between greatness, continued prosperity and eventual failure. America is experiencing an internal revolution between light and darkness. The triumph, failure or destiny of the world will most likely depend on America’s 2020 election. It will be a matter of who wants strength and peace and who wants socialism and continued violence. Trump was recently nominated for “three” Nobel Peace prizes for his efforts in bringing peace. I believe that Trump truly stands for law and order, preserving our Constitution, for saving the economy, eradicating the virus and putting people back to work. Who doesn’t value peace in their communities and in their neighborhoods? And to think that he is doing all of this without pay! While his businesses are losing millions, he is bringing jobs back to everyone who wants to work. He is also doing his best to bring the right cure for COVID-19! Biden is in serious trouble over his quid pro quo comments. Incriminating emails are surfacing. His lies will soon come back to haunt him.
Biden is ignoring several key issues until after the election. Democrats want DC and Puerto Rico to become states. Speaker Pelosi and company would love that. Democrats would gain Senators and Representatives immediately. There is also a hint of “stacking” the Court by adding more Justices. Amy Coney Barrett is Trump’s choice to fill Justice Ginsburg’s spot. Her simple, yet intellectual responses have made some Senators look like fools. Her Catholic upbringing is being questioned because of Roe v Wade. Never mind that Biden and Pelosi are Catholic. Such hypocrites on abortion! The Constitution declares that one’s religion will never be used as a qualification to any office in the United States. That is exactly why Democrats oppose her confirmation. The hearing was all about abortion.
Then again, what do I know? Who will save America, Trump or Biden? Which party is dividing America with riots, destruction and hatred for police? My roots are planted right here in America, the greatest country on this planet. Here is where I’ll die defending its principles, values and all its God-given glory. Speaker Pelosi wants to re-introduce the 25th Amendment. She claims Trump is unable to proceed as president after testing positive for the virus, and because of the drugs. Could it be she is thinking about Biden, who sounds confused more and more each day? Pelosi and others never wanted the debates to take place. Biden says the “people” should decide the next Justice. He should know the “president” nominates the Justices, not the people. If Biden was to somehow win 2020, it wouldn’t take long for Pelosi to remove him due to his cognitive and ignorant gaffes and comments. This would put Harris in the White House. Wasn’t Harris ousted pretty early during the Democratic debates? It’s too late for Biden to rethink his choice. Her true colors came out during her last debate. Biden’s 10-people rallies don’t garner millions of votes. “Super” donors for Biden are buying the election. Doing away with the Electoral College would make this a “one-party” country. California and New York would control this country forever. Thanks, but no, thanks! 2021, here we go again!
